Second U.S. Patent Granted for ARTIS Technologies:

August 1999 SAN ANTONIO  -  Oilfield Equipment Marketing, Inc. (OEM) of San Antonio, Texas was granted a second U.S. Patent this month covering more of the company's ARTIS technologies.   The original Advanced Real Time Inspection System (ARTIS-1) debuted in 1995.  The first patent was granted in April of 1997.  Today, the second generation ARTIS-2 system is the electromagnetic pipe inspection system of choice, worldwide.  Several models are available including a field portable "buggy" system, a well-head "trip" inspection system, a stationary in-plant "conveyor" system for used drill pipe and tubing and a five (5) point inspection system for new "green" tube.   ARTIS-2 systems are 100% computer operated and controlled.  For the future, OEM will continue to develop the ARTIS technologies to provide the most advanced EMI pipe inspection equipment available.
